Perforated design is text “MICH” printed vertical on the card. Wave lines of microprint across the card and in other areas of the card design.

Tricolor optical variable ink design of a bridge and “MICHIGAN” best viewed tilting the card back and forth.

Ultraviolet design as seen in the image below of the state seal is identical vs real.

Michigan fake id backside ultraviolet consists of a ghost image and cardholder birth date. In addition, the cardholder birth date is printed on the back. Likewise, backside includes scannable magnetic stripe and 2D barcode.
